Janet Holt Black of Charlotte, NC went to be with Jesus on May 28, 2025, at 4:30 am after a long hard battle with a type of cancer called Diffused Large B Cell Lymphoma Double Hit.  

She was a loving, compassionate, caring heartfelt, selfless woman.  She was truly a servant of the Lord and loved people well.  She always put others before herself no matter the cost.  She was a living example of what Jesus meant by putting yourself before others & love your neighbor.  

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Laramin D Black Sr, father Herbert Roscoe Holt, mother Mary Lou Wilson, baby Brother, and a Great Granddaughter. 

She leaves behind her daughter Denise Rhodes of Charlotte, NC (3 Children & 7 Grandchildren), son Laramin Black (Trish) of Charlotte, NC (6 Children & 3 Grandchildren), daughter Nancy Frank (Jeremy) of Lancaster (1 child & 3 Grandchildren), step-son Charles Black (Cathy) of Rock Hill, SC (4 children & 14 Grandchildren) Sister Nancy Howle (Vic) of Cary, NC, brothers Rick Holt (Johnene) of Fort Mill, SC, Danny Holt of Clover, SC, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
